we chose new line cinema to distribute our project as it produced most of the major films that inspired out storyline for 'the visitor'. thrillers with the new line print are automatically respected because of the level of knowledge with films that new line cinema has accumulated over theyre long years in film production. we would hope that new line cinema would re-direct the same amount passion into the production of our film.
New line cinema tends to produce films that are made on a high budget hollywood american scale so, accepting our film idea on board may be an issue for them. but hopefully they would see past our low budget and see deeper into our psychological thriller.
general institution information:
once our film is finally produced it will be shown across a variety of commercial and independent cinemas such as the odeon, vue and cineworlds.. also picture houses.
hopefully after great cinema success, our film will go on to be released in all major media outlets, such as HMV, amazon and play.com.
