QUESTION FOUR.
SSSN have decided that our film will be rated a 15. in the last few years according to the BBFC the most common age rating issued since 2009 is 15- meaning that the market for this age era is absolutely booming right now and we want to fall straight into this growing sensation. 'Only 49 films rated at 18 were released in 2009 compared to 223 films with a BBFC rating of 15' and 'Only 2 of the certificate 18 films broke the 10 million profit margin.' indicating that the success of 15 films are far greater than that of films of any higher rating.
our film deals with some issues unsuitable for younger children so having it as a 12 would be totally inapropriate.
also, with the biggest cinema following agr group being the 15-24year olds, we feel that this is the right age group to get our film the publicity it needs.
